Explosion-proof Power Meters with Integrating Sphere Sensors

Explosion-proof Power Meters with integrating sphere photodiode sensors

Thanks to the integrating sphere design, can measure optical power independent of the divergence angle and beam shape of the incoming beam. They are available with either a silicon photodiode sensor for 350 to 1100 nm (Si photodiode) or a InGaAs photodiode sensor for 800 - 1700 nm. Both sensors can detect optical powers between 1 µW and 500 mW

This optical power meter can be used for both fiber-coupled and free-space applications. An SM1 (1.035″-40) thread adapter and an FC fiber adapter are supplied with the unit, while other fiber adapters for SMA, LC, ST and SC connectors are available separately.

The Ex Power Meters with integrating sphere photodiode sensors remotely controlled power meters have USB interfaces and are offered with a selection of photodiode and thermal power sensors. Each sensor is connected to the USB interface by a standard 1.5 m connection cable.

8-32- and M4-threaded mounting holes are provided to accommodate posts.

The meter holds the sensor’s individual NIST- and PTB- traceable spectral calibration data in a non-volatile memory.

Ex Power Meters with integrating sphere photodiode sensors compatible with Windows OS.

The Ex Power Meters with integrating sphere photodiode sensors is connected through an industrial USB 2.0 connector to an intrinsically safe barrier Ex USB 2.0.

The Ex Power Meters with integrating sphere photodiode sensors have a “hot-plug” function which allows them to be connected and disconnected without stopping, shutting down or rebooting the system.
