HydITEx never stops investing: a new wider and completely renovated R&D Lab and Work shop has been recently inaugurated.

The R&D Lab and Work shop based in the European department HydITEx is a Mediterranean facility that provides Basic Research, Applied Research, Development Research and the full engineering cycle through concept, 3D design, engineering drawings, materials procurement, manufacture, assembly, next advanced testing and next life testing.

As well as extra breakout facilities for additional special testing as required. Example - Biogeochemical analysis of soil, water and gas.

To put it simply, it is a space where we can look carefully into the problems our Clients are facing and find solutions for them. The Digital R&D Lab and Work shop

The HydITEx team uses automation to bring technology to life, create new capabilities for efficient workflow execution, and significantly reduce the time between sample creation and results reporting for enhanced, informed decision making.

The physically visible part of lab automation would not be possible without corresponding digitization and automation of records. Digital record-keeping systems, such as laboratory information management systems (LIMS), electronic lab notebooks (ELN) and laboratory execution systems (LES), equipped with user-friendly workflow generators, are now an indispensable part of modern laboratory infrastructure. They save time in preparing test records and writing up test results on paper, as well as in the checking of handwritten records by peers to ensure there are no errors. Digital record-keeping systems have also enabled better management of workflows, creating structures for research that are adaptable and flexible, which is a core requirement as research evolves based on its findings.

Today, a confluence of technical breakthroughs, increasing integration and compatibility of technologies, and advancements in supporting digital systems have made exploring automation options both more accessible and more urgent. The Industry & Academia R&D Lab

Industry R&D is generally adapting/modifying existing techniques and technologies to create new/better products. Academic research is generally focused on creating new/better techniques and technologies. That means the end product produced by engineers working in industry R&D is generally a prototype; while, the end product of researchers is a paper detailing the strengths of the their new technique/technology and what needs to be further improved on. Our vision of R&D has elements of all twtwo, but with a twist: hypothesizing, the freedom to explore and innovate, creative thinking and flexibility.
