Explosion-proof line entries for shielded twisted pairs STP are intended for connecting Ethernet STP cables between two shells of explosion-proof equipment. One of the defining features of STP cables is their shielding, which encases the twisted pairs and provides an extra layer of protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Maintaining the integrity of shielded cables in line bushings involves ensuring the shield's electrical continuity. According to the rules, Ex STP line entries can be used for direct entry as part of fire-resistant enclosures of subgroups IIA, IIB+H2, IIC.
