Explosion-proof cable glands for STP shielded with shielded twisted pairs are used to protect the cable from accidental pulling, are used in places where explosion-proof cable glands with a degree of protection IP 66/67/68 are required. One of the defining features of STP cables is their shielding, which encases the twisted pairs and provides an extra layer of protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Maintaining the integrity of shielded cables in glands involves ensuring the shield's electrical continuity. According to the rules, Ex STP cable glands may be used for direct insertion as a part of fireproof enclosures of IIA, IIB+H2, IIC subgroups.
