The HydITEx explosion-proof Ex Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) antenna is engineered to deliver energy-efficient wireless connectivity, location tracking, and IoT sensor networking in hazardous areas. Designed to eliminate the need for signal-reducing intrinsically safe (IS) barriers, it preserves signal strength and ensures reliable data transmission directly on-site.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a short-range wireless technology, although later versions of the standard, such as BLE 5, offer a much longer range—over 1 km in certain use cases. BLE operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and consumes very little power compared to traditional Bluetooth. BLE technology is widely used to connect devices, track locations, or connect to Internet of Things (IoT) networks.
